Welcome to Lesismore’s website!

This Week

Oh, this is a wonderful week! Firstly, the Lesismore Trio is playing the annual Burns Bog Conservation Society’s Summer Social at One20 Pub this Thursday, August 15th from 6:30-9:30. This is always a packed house so grab your tickets if you haven’t already. It’s a great deal – For $35 (in advance – $40 at the door), you get live music (us!), delicious snacks provided by One20’s award-winning kitchen team, tastes of all the different beers and wines that are on location that night AND a $20 gift certificate to use at One20 anytime! As well, there’s a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. All to raise money for one of Canada’s most unique ecological areas – Burns Bog – and keep it pristine and cared for. You KNOW you wanna support this! Here’s where you go for tickets: http://burnsbog.org/event/event-2019-summer-social/?fbclid=IwAR2pznp1elUbNUoP9i2DR8SrUdDZiO-vRmeCMuO_F37RjnSgkjMCOBGSb8k

And then – drum roll – Ladies Sing the Blues is back at The Fairview Pub this Sunday, August 18th from 4:30-7:30! Yay!! It’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure of rockin’ with these incredibly talented ladies so I am STOKED!! Onstage will be Joani Bye, Nadine States, Amanda Dean and moi! All at the same time! Can you stand it? Me neither. Yes, fun will be had. $15 at the door and you’d best get there early cuz it always sells out.

Lots more coming up but you may want to mark your calendars for Wednesday, Aug 28th when Harris&DeBray play The Sylvia Hotel from 8-10pm. It is a special place to be – for us and for you!

See you at the gigs!

August Antics!

Happy Summer Everyone!

First big news is that Harris&DeBray now has an Instagram page – you can find us at @harrisdebray. I’ll be posting often to let you know what’s up so check back regularly. Thanks!

And here’s what’s going on this month:

Tomorrow night – Friday Aug 9th – Harris&DeBray plays The Deck Kitchen & Bar in Pacific Gateway Hotel in Richmond. GORGEOUS place!! We play from 5:30-10 so if you get there early, you can catch the tail end of happy hour!

This Sunday, Curtis will be subbing for Tim Hearsey with Cannery Row at Backstage Lounge on Granville Island from 2-5pm. If you like your music kinda swampy, you’ll love this! Go Curtis!

Thursday Aug 15th – it’s the annual Burns Bog Conservation Society Summer Social at One20 Pub in North Delta. The Lesismore Trio (with Lee!) will be playing from 6:30-9:30pm and it’s not only a great deal, it’s a fantastic cause! You can see the poster above but here’s what they wrote on their FB page: “Come and join us for an evening of wine/beer tastings, silent auction, live music, 50/50 raffle, and hors d’oeuvres provided by the One20 pub! Space is limited so be sure to pre-register and guarantee yourselves a $20 One20 gift card”
So you pay $35 and you get food, drinks, fun, live music and you also get a $20 gift card from One20 to spend anytime! It’s a fantastic deal and we really hope to see you there.

On Sunday Aug 18th, Ladies Sing the Blues – featuring Joani Bye, Nadine States, Amanda Dean and myself – will be back at The Fairview Pub from 4:30-7:30pm! This is always a super fun afternoon so put on your dancing shoes and come join us! $15 at the door.

The following Saturday Aug 24th, Ladies Sing the Blues brings the show into Frankie’s Jazz Club! This is a fantastic room to see a live show in – unobstructed view from every table, impeccable sound, lovely ambience. We would LOVE to see you there. Click on the link to make your reservation.

And then – wait for it – GARDENSTOCK!! As most of you know, it was cancelled twice due to rain, but third time lucky, right? It’s at Sue Webb’s gorgeous place in Pitt Meadows, in the back yard garden. Doors are at 3, then Bobby Bacchus “Vancouver’s Crooning Sensation” will take the stage from 4-5pm, introducing Dan and Nadia for a few songs at around 5:30, then Harris&DeBray play from 6 til around 8. Fun!! $20 at the door, BYOB, potluck if you wanna bring something and be ready for some fun! Please contact Sue directly for details, directions, etc. at 604-837-4817. See you there!

On Wed Aug 28th, Harris&DeBray play the lovely and grand Sylvia Hotel in the West End from 8-10pm. We don’t get to play there very often – I guess everyone wants to! – so when we do, we are excited! We would love to see your smiling faces in the room.

Friday Aug 30th, Harris&DeBray is back by popular demand at The Royal Crown Castle Pub in New West from 8-11pm. Yay! We had a blast last month and I’m sure we will again. This is a cool place! It’s in the old gate of what used to be BC Pen!! Kinda eerie, right? But it’s a lovely room with super friendly staff, good food and drinks and an awesome patio! (But you’ll be inside where we are, right? Yup.)

And finally for August, Harris&DeBray plays The Washington Avenue Grill in White Rock on Saturday Aug 31st from 8-11. GREAT place!! Make a reservation – it’s always packed. RIGHT on the water so the view is to die for. Yay!

And that’s the scoop for August!
See you at the gigs,

Did you say winery?

That’s right, folks – Harris&DeBray is playing at a WINERY this Saturday! Not just any winery – Country Vines Winery on Steveston Road in Richmond. Oh yes, we’re gonna have fun. So mark that in your books and get out there! July 20th from 4-7pm we’ll be playing while you’re tasting. Okay, we may be tasting as well. LOL! Hope to see you there.

Then on Sunday July 21st, we’re back at The Paddlewheeler Pub at the New Westminster Quay by popular demand – yay!! From 2-5pm we’ll be sitting there, right on the water’s edge, playing some roots and blues for your dining and enjoying pleasure. If you haven’t been there yet, you are in for a treat. Lots of parking under the Inn at the Quay right next door (cheap on Sundays), delish food, friendly service and live music (that’s us!). Oh yeah, you know you wanna.

More coming next week. The fun just never stops.
See you at the gigs!
