March Music Madness!

Happy Almost Spring my lovely friends!

Yup, the cherry blossoms are out, the sun is shining and things are happening! So I’ll get right to it.

First off and on a bit of a sad note, our gig this Saturday Mar 7th at Knuckles in White Rock has been cancelled. It’s a shock to us as well because it’s so last minute but apparently the owners just decided to cancel all live music and that was that. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience and hope to see you somewhere else soon.

But this is VERY exciting: Lesismore, featuring Jeremy Holmes on bass while Lee galavants around the world, will be playing at Frankie’s Jazz Club on Saturday Mar 14th at 8pm. Yay! We absolutely adore Frankie’s – delicious food, great sight lines to the stage from every table, respectful audience – it’s fantastic! You need reservations for sure so give them a call at 604.688.6368 and grab your table. We look forward to seeing you.

The very next day, Sunday Mar 15th, I get to hit the stage with all the lovely ladies you see above as Ladies Sing the Blues plays The Fairview Pub from 4:30-7:30pm! That’s right, Joani Bye, Amanda Dean, Nadine States and I, backed up by Rob Montgomery and his amazing band will be layin’ down some serious dance grooves for you to shake your booty to all afternoon. How fun! $15 at the door and I’d get there early if I were you because this show PACKS the place!

So that’s what going on in the next short while and here’s the rest of the month:

Mar 19th – Harris&DeBray plays One20 Pub in North Delta from 6:30-9:30pm. Come on out!

Mar 20th – Leslie & Curtis are special guests for “Blues on Broadway” at The Fairview from 7-9pm. We get to play with Chip Hart and Bruce O’Neill – woohoo!!

Mar 22nd – Lesismore (with Sandy Bone on the tubs!) play “Sunday for Sinners” at The Princeton Pub from 4:30-7:30pm. SO grateful to be part of the roster of acts going in there because it’s FUN!!

Mar 26th – Harris&DeBray play the lovely Blue Martini in Kits from 7-10pm.

Mar 27th – Ladies Sing the Blues is at Frankie’s Jazz Club from 8-11pm! Make your reservations NOW!

Mar 28th – I get to be the special guest at Rob Montgomery’s happening blues jam at The Railway! 1-4pm.

Mar 29th – Harris&DeBray play The Paddlewheeler Pub in New West from 3-6pm. What a lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Phew! Now THAT’S a rockin’ month of music!

See you at the gigs!

Feb Fun!

Hey my music loving friends!

Look at this sunshine! Spring is coming. Yay!!

Harris&DeBray are playing a couple of fun gigs this week that we would LOVE to see you at! On Thursday Feb 20th, we’re heading out to North Delta to play the fantastic One20 Pub from 6:30-9:30pm. Yay! It’s a great place with tons of free parking, the most delicious food ever, friendly proficient staff and – us! Then on Friday Feb 21st, it’s The Royal Crown Castle Pub in what used to be BC Pen in New West from 8-11pm. As macabre as that sounds, it’s a great little pub nestled in amongst all the condos they built on that site but easy to find. Again, lots of parking, good food, cozy little spot and we are on a big push to fill that place this Friday – come and help us!! PUHLEAZE!! Lol.

See you at the gigs,
Leslie & the boys

Where’s Leslie?

This Friday Feb 14th (yup, it’s Valentine’s Day), Curtis and Leslie will be the special guests at “Blues on Broadway” at The Fairview Pub from 7-9pm! We’ll be joining Bruce O’Neill (Arson Shomakov’s bassist) and Ed Johnson (drums) to play some blues for your dancing pleasure. It would be VERY cool to see you there!

Saturday night Feb 15th, Lesismore plays The Raven in Deep Cove from 8:30-11:30pm. Yay! We love the Raven!! Great food, no cover, free parking AND live music! Come and join us if you’re looking for something to do.

Next week, Harris&DeBray plays One20 Pub on Thursday Feb 20th from 6:30-9:30pm. This is a fantastic place so why not make the trek to North Delta and catch our version of roots and blues? We’d love to see you.

Friday Feb 21st, Harris&DeBray plays The Castle Pub in New West (it’s the old gate of BC Pen) from 8-11 and we’d LOVE for you to join us! It’s a fun little pub with delish food and friendly service. Fun!

Thanks for continuing to support live music, friends. Without the audience, there ain’t no show!

See you at the gigs,
Leslie & the boys

Happy Snowpocolypse 2020 Everyone!

Hahahaha! I hope you’re all enjoying this rare occurrence in Vancouver – it sure is pretty out there. Getting around is a bit of a challenge though. The good news is that it’ll be a distant memory by this Sunday Jan 19th when Ladies Sing the Blues will be hitting the stage at The Fabulous Fairview Pub at 4:30pm! I get to sing with Joani Bye, Nadine States and Amanda Dean and I am stoked about it! Of course, having Rob Montgomery and his all-star band backing us up is pretty fantastic as well. Oh yeah, we’re gonna have some kinda fun. Grab your dancing shoes and get down there early cuz you know it’s gonna be packed. $15 cover at the door.

Next Thursday Jan 23rd, Harris&DeBray are playing One20 Pub in North Delta from 6:30-9:30pm. It’s always fun out there – delicious food, fantastic service, really nice room, tons of free parking, dance floor – it’s got everything! We’d love to see you there.

On Tuesday Jan 28th, Harris&DeBray will play The Paddlewheeler Pub in New West from 6-9pm. Right on the river, it’s got a gorgeous view and it’s a friendly neighbourhood type place with all the comforts of home – except no dishes and live music! Lol. Why not come down and join us?

Then it’s Dine Out Vancouver and Lesismore will be appearing for two consecutive nights – Wed Jan 29th and Thurs Jan 30th – at Federico’s Supper Club. We are very excited about playing for Dine Out – it’s a wonderful cause and Federico’s is a spectacular place with impeccable Euro style service and scrumptious food. We play from 7-10 both nights and you definitely need reservations because Dine Out always sells out. Give them a call at 604-251-3473 and grab your table.

Lotsa great stuff coming up in Feb as well including Porter’s, The Raven, The Castle and more!

See you at the gigs!
